From the series “Portraits of Survival.” The informal work of Don Lucho, a mechanic on the tenth block of Parinacochas Street in the La Victoria district, where he has lived for 20 years, is a testament to his enduring resilience. Don Lucho worked at what he knew best: mechanics. He sought a creative solution to the economic crisis, building his mechanic shop in a place that belongs to no one: the street. Although his business is informal, he has managed to make a name for himself and attract a large number of customers who come looking for him and, moreover, prefer him.
