But, clearly it won't be that straightforward...

Grand Designs Indoors is a spin-off of Grand Designs, with a similar format. As the name suggests, the series concentrates on the interior transformation of properties.

A documentary series profiling architects who are using design as a form of activism and resistance to tackle the world’s urban, environmental and social crises. The series follows architects from Vietnam, Nigeria, Spain, Pakistan, Israel/Occupied West Bank and Brazil who believe architecture can do more than iconic towers and luxury flats – turning away from elite “starchitecture” to design for the majority.

The show traces the history of architecture and urban planning in Reykjavík in the twentieth century. The series begins in 1915, in the big fire where many wooden houses in the town were destroyed. Then the time of the concrete houses began.

This series travels the length and breadth of Britain to find out how the Victorians built Britain. It uncovers the incredible and surprising stories behind iconic landmarks; discovers the hidden heroes behind the epic constructions; and finds out how the incredible advances made by the Victorians forged the world we live in today.
